| Railey Rose |
Railey Rose, ( Ray•lee Rose), was born on May 31, 1995, in downtown Houston, Texas. She was raised in Katy [Texas], where she graduated from Mayde Creek High.
She was exposed to music early in life; her father was a guitarist and her uncle was a drummer, who had a band together, in the late ’90s. By the time she was in 5th grade, Railey was in choir and performed solos. She would attend her dad’s band practices, shows, and jam with her father, in the garage.
She always knew she would be doing something in the music industry given her passion for music and dance. In 2005, Railey’s father was a guitarist, for well-known South African rock singer, Dilana. Railey remembers her not showing up to her own band rehearsals, so she stepped in knowing all the words, as well as pitches, for her songs. Railey said, “That was the first time I knew I would pursue music professionally when I was an adult.”
In high school, she was an officer on the drill team, so she was intrigued by dance outside of school. Railey has released her first singles, “S.D.M.S”, “Worried ‘Bout You”, and “Lonesome”, which have reached 100k+ streams in the last couple of years worldwide, following with her recent endeavors with the label known as JustNtime Music & 1501 Certified Entertainment. Railey has features with Houston rappers, Trill Sammy and Megan thee Stallion; she has also worked with DJ Chose, and many more.
She will be releasing her first EP, “Sounds of a Rose” in the fall of 2019 that includes production by Grammy-nominated producers and producers from the UK. Railey Rose has said that she will, “never give up on her music career and wants people, from all around the world, to know, she is here for a reason: to spread love and peace through her music.”
We hope to continue watching this beautiful Rose blossom, into the artist that she truly is.
